Lake Hancock Solar Field Project Summary
A+ Environmental Restoration, LLC was contracted to install the landscape buffers and irrigation system within the Lake Hancock Solar Site located in Bartow, Florida. The work was completed from June 2019 – September 2019. The project included: Mechanical Vegetation Removal, Underground Utilities Coordination, Directional Bore Installation, Irrigation Installation (Including Well Installations and Permanent Electric Installation), Planting, Mulch Installation, and Sod Installation. For this large-scale buffer project we supplied, delivered, and installed 163 45-gallon Native Trees, 884 30-gallon Native Trees, 659 7-gallon Native Shrubs, and 1,773 3-gallon Native Shrubs. This project was completed on-time and under budget!
Winchester Boulevard Project Summary
A+ Environmental Restoration, LLC performed the tree installation, shrub installation, groundcover installation, irrigation, maintenance of traffic, and ongoing maintenance within the Winchester Blvd. project site located in Charlotte County, Florida. The project site consisted of 2 zones: the medians and the buffers. Within the medians, the trees installed were crape myrtles, cathedral live oaks, royal palms, and cabbage palms. Additionally, muhly grass, coontie, foxtail ferns, and perennial peanut were installed within the medians. For the buffer zones, the trees installed were bald cypress, red maple, wax myrtle, simpson’s stopper, and crape myrtle. Additionally, we installed an irrigation system, mulch, maintenance of traffic, and are providing ongoing maintenance for 1-year.
Picayune Strand State Forest Project Summary
A+ Environmental Restoration, LLC was selected to perform the herbicide treatment of all Florida Exotic Pest Plant Council’s (FLEPPC) Category I and II exotic/nuisance species, primarily Brazilian Pepper, within the Picayune Strand State Forest project site located in Collier County, Florida. The treatment area was 281 acres within the Northern Block section of the project site.
Robinson Preserve Cabbage Palm Planting Project Summary
A+ Environmental Restoration, LLC was selected to perform the planting of 240 Cabbage Palm trees within the Robinson Preserve Land Bridge Expansion project site located in Manatee County, Florida. We installed (42) trees that were previously staged at the project and (198) trees were supplied, delivered, and installed by our crew. Additionally, we provided a temporary irrigation system, mulch, and braces for all the trees. All work was completed by A+ Environmental Restoration, LLC including the transportation of all cabbage palms to the project site.
